Oliver Bell joined T Rowe Price in 2011 and is currently based in the London office. He has managed the T Rowe Price Middle East & Africa Fund since November 2011 having moved from Pictet where he worked for 14 years. Oliver`s investment strategy is focused on quality and growth at a reasonable price. He studied at the University of Exeter and outside of work he enjoys cricket and skiing.

Objective

The fund invests at least two-thirds of total assets in equity and equity-related securities of companies that are either incorporated in the developing countries of the Middle East and Africa or conduct most of their business in such countries. Types of securities may include common stocks, preferred stocks, warrants, American Depository Receipts, European Depository Receipts and Global Depository Receipts. The fund does not invest more than one-third of its assets in debt and money market securities. The fund may use derivatives for hedging and efficient portfolio management.
